I don't know about everyone else, but for me when I played my first game of Valorant, I dominated. I think it's because Valorant doesn't require as much "chess-playing" as CS does. In CS you have to calculate your moves 5 in advance and in Valorant that isn't exactly necessary.
Valorant is fun though, because you get to play as different characters. It sort of feels like Overwatch meets CSGO. At the same time though, the characters abilities are all different and if you want flashes you have to choose a specific character. Because you can't choose the same character as a teammate, that means that you may not get to have all the utilities that you want. In CSGO, everyone can buy whatever grenades that they want.
Let me know what you think! Overall I think the addition of Valorant to eSports is a great thing, because Valve had no competition with CSGO, which meant no updates/patches. But now it has to compete and become better everyday.
