Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a game which was released by Devolver Digital on August 4, 2020. This title hit PC and PlayStation 4 consoles at the same time. The game represents the arcade genre, while being focused on multiplayer in Battle Royale mode. Interestingly, the title was created by the small British studio Mediatonic, which in the past collaborated on many humorous games, while being the creator of extraordinary titles - Hatoful Boyfriend about dating pigeons, Foul Play, Monsters (Propably) Stole My Princess and the well-known and popular, fun operation simulator - Amateur Surgeon.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout played in Battle Royale mode does not have much in common with typical titles of this genre. There is no place for firearms and a fight to the death. In the title, we play the role of a funny guy who takes part in an unusual game show resembling of the world-famous Ninja Warrior or Takeshi's Castle. In the game, we have to overcome a difficult obstacle course and perform a number of unusual agility tasks. At each subsequent stage, the weakest participant is eliminated. The title is not easy, because as many as 60 people take part in the game! This means that we need to be faster, more agile and smarter than 59 people to be able to claim the grand prize. But that's not all! In some tasks we have to mercilessly eliminate competition, while in others the key is cooperation, which allows us to eliminate enemy teams consisting of several people. The graphic design of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is extremely colorful and cheerful. The participants of the game show are dressed up in various funny costumes resembling dinosaurs, colorful animals, sweets and cute monsters, which completes the humorous side of the game.
