osu! to gra rytmiczna wydana 16 września 2007 roku przez Deana Herberta, szerzej znanego jako peppy. Jest ona ciągle przez niego rozwijana, co jakiś czas dodawane są nowe aktualizacje. Gra jest całkowicie free to play, jednak jest możliwość kupienia sobie tzw. supportera, który daje nam dużo przydatnych funkcji. Kosztuje on 5 dolarów miesięcznie, ale nie jest wymagany do gry i nie daje przewagi między innymi graczami. osu! posiada cztery tryby gry: Standard, Catch the Beat, Taiko i Mania, z których najbardziej popularny jest tryb Standard. Gra ta polega na klikaniu w kółka w rytm muzyki lecącej w tle. Dla niektórych może na początku wydawać się nudne i nieciekawe, ale gwarantuje wam, że jeśli zdecydujecie się zagrać to zmienicie zdanie. W grze można pobierać różne mapy, znajdziecie tam praktycznie każdy typ muzyki. W grze dominują przede wszystkim openingi z anime, jednak jest tam również bardzo dużo anglojęzyczych map, znajdziecie nawet polskie. W grze za zagranie mapy zdobywamy tak zwane PP, czyli Performance Points. W zależności od trudności mapy zdobywamy ich mniej lub więcej. Gra posiada swój własny ranking oparty właśnie na PP. Pierwsze miejsce na świecie posiada Cookiezi z liczbą 13,922 PP na swoim koncie (stan na dzień 18-06-2017). Posiada on również rekord punktów za jedną mapę, a wynosi on 817pp. Polskim rekordzistą jest gracz Rafis z liczbą 13,041pp, posiada on również czwarte miejsce na świecie. Jeśli zdecydujesz się zagrać w osu! oficjalna strona gry to www.osu.ppy.sh. Według mnie na prawdę warto spróbować zagrać w tą grę. Pamiętajcie też, że jeśli nie będzie wam na początku szło nie zniechęcajcie się, nie każdy od razu przechodził kilku gwiazdkowe mapy. Trening czyni mistrza i im więcej będziecie grać, tym lepsi będziecie.
