WePlay! take the second Minor of the season to Bukovel ski resort

With the regional qualifiers for the first round of Dota Pro Circuit tournaments nearly over, WePlay! Esports revealed the first details of the second Minor of the season.
The Ukrainian company will host their first-ever DPC event January 9-12, 2020 in an idyllic winter scenery at the Bukovel ski resort in the western part of Ukraine. Regional qualifiers will once again be held in a joint event for both the Minor and the Major that follows it, and while details regarding the second Major of the season are yet to be announced, the qualifiers are scheduled to take place this year, December 1-6, with the last two days in the event, December 5,6 being dedicated to the Bukovel Minor.
Eight teams in total will get to fight at the WePlay! Bukovel Minor for a share of the $300,000 and a ticket to the first Major of 2020. The tournament will mark WePlay’s LAN debut for Dota 2, but the esports fans should be familiar with their studio set-up tournaments held for Dota 2, CS:GO Artifact and Underlords.
“As a big international company, we aim to hold full-scale Tier-1 LAN tournaments. The WePlay! team can take an exciting esports competition and elevate it to an even more engaging esportainment show. Our creative teams want to be able to cater to a broader audience which means working with the best players and teams.
So far, after rebranding in the year 2019, we’ve had one CS:GO LAN (Forge of Masters Season 1 Finals), and the rest of our events were limited to studio format. In the near future, we plan to hold three big LAN-competitions,” told us last month , head of Esports at WePlay! when we spoke to him ahead of the Reshuffle Madness 2019. WePlay! Esports will also host a Dota 2 LAN event sometime in February next year, the Tug of War: Mad Moon, which is the final part of the Tug of War: Radiant and Tug of War: Dire trilogy series.
