For the beginner I'd say Air is easier to understand because you can see everything going on. It might be harder to master though because air combat takes place in 3D and you need have a decent feel for which battles against other opponents you can win depending on what plane you are in and what they are in.

Tanks has many ways to die and from sources you did not see - you might think it's 2D - enemies can only be on the ground, but there are also attacks from planes and from artillery and through cover you was not aware could be shot through or over hills making the shot drop down on you even though you had no line of sight to the enemy.

IMO tanks therefore is more frustrating to new players.

This might anger some but I think new players should try naval battles before going into tanks.
It's many of the same mechanics but with far fewer places to hide and the water is perfectly flat as a battlefield - no hills there.
You also get warnings when there are aircrafts near you so it's a kind of tank-light gamemode.

Then once you understand aiming and firing in naval you can progress to tanks which is more complex.

I'm absolutely in the PC camp. You can mod games and control the platform, unlike with console where you don't control anything. And PCs are backwards compatible with all older games AND can even run older console titles with emulation, and if you want to write comments, or work or otherwise interact online there is only so much you can do from the couch even if you did invest in a keyboard for the console.

Face it, you're are going to need a PC no matter what - might as well spend a little more to get one that can also game.

So you're saying I can simply comment on this to gain XP. Worth trying.

I'm not sure how to screenshot 8 won battles in one shot and also show that I shot 3 players.
