I havne't noticed much of a difference between Opera and Google, Firefox, and Edge. It just seems to be the same. Is it supposed to eat up fewer system resources? I'm not entirely sure. I just know that it doesn't ln my system. Honestly, it seems about the same. Just as responsive. Uses just as much RAM and etc, just as funcitonal. If there's a difference, I haven't noticed it yet.

opera gx is awesome for gamers. it has a bunch of settings that help with the performance and other things when gaming. i havent used it much, but i definitely hear good things about it from gameranx on youtube.

From my personal experience, Opera is far more suited to gamers, however it's not quite as well tailored to day to day use.
For a day to day or job related browser I'd suggest Chrome.
But it's safe to say that for everyone reading this Opera GX is indeed the better choice
