S1mple is definitely dominating Counter-Strike at the moment, with all of his skills combined, but he is definitely not the best aimer in the game. Xp9x, f0rest, and hiko all have truly incredible aim, just need more gamesense.

You have a 0.25% chance to get a knife, AKA 1/400 cases, which means theoretically it'd take $996 (+tax) to actually guarantee yourself a knife from a case, and considering most prices of knives, even a super rare $500 knife would still put you down...
Just save up for the items. Really, it is so much better. Open ONE case every great once in a while, just for fun, but don't open them for profit.

Dust 2 is a great map, and can be very fun to play for beginners especially. However, it is notorious for having cheaters, due to the openness of the map and ease of shooting through mid doors. It is also, a very, VERY old map, and therefore is a classic among players. It was well-respected before modern day competitiveness and being tarnished by cheaters.

ak-47 is an amazing gun, but if mastered the desert eagle can be so much better (cheap, same 1-shot potential)

Cortex and Torque are great budget USP's, Kill Confirmed is the absolute best one.

Oh my GOD I agree, the VAC is actually very poor. So many third-party anti-cheats are better.
