We're finally at the halfway point, everyone. How fitting that the 200th input belongs to none other than yours truly, and a 1 SG at that. Life is hard. For anyone out there just want to get a sneak peek, the short version is here:

Per the rule of SCIENCE! no definite conclusion can be made yet, but I dare say the average would hover around that number more or less. So an early "Good job!" to all participants out there (which, not including me, is 3...), and a big "Thank you!" especially to pqp and Myon for keeping up with this unnecessary experiment of mine.

Nice work, now we just need to do that much work again. :D Taking the results so far we get 1198 gems per year from daily chests alone. If we are taking gamivo's exchange rate of 1000 gems for 1.95€, that's 2.34€ (rounded up) they are giving out for free from daily chests. Now with 55 soul gems from logins weekly that's 2860 gems. In 52 weekly chests you get 52 soul gems per rune, and we get about 4 Manaz runes per year to increase daily login gems. Adding all this up gets us to 4162 gems per year or 8.11€. But that's how much it would cost to buy soul gems. To collect a reward, if we take the steam wallet 5€ for 3099 gems as an universal cash out currency, all our efforts are worth 6.71€ per year. Even without half the required samples, this does look like a realistic number.
P.S. No science experiment is unnecessary, in fact I quite enjoy this one, so thank you!
Upon a closer look I can see that there are only 6 types of rune in the weekly chest, not 12 like in your calc Myon, and presumely they have the same droprate. And since you have already done all this, add in the fact that the steam wallet $5 is unavailable most of the time, why not go for the maximum cost-saving £50 option? 32k gems are huge I agree, but working on contracts and daily ads and game tasks should get us to that in like a year or two, right?
With that in mind, here's your math redone using my logic:
Set a week to 7 days, and a year to 365 days or 52 weeks.
Each Mannaz rune activate for 7 days and give 2 more gems per days => 14 additional gems.
Daily chest: 3.282 * 365 = 1197.9 => 1198
Daily + Weekly login: (5 * 7 + 20) * 52 = 2860
Weekly chest: 1 * 52 = 52
Keep all the Mannaz rune: 52 * 5/6 = 43.3 => 43
Use Mannaz rune: 14 * 52 * 1/6 = 121
=> Total: 1198 + 2860 + 43 + 121 = 4222 gems/year
Cash in using steam wallet £50 for 32699 gems: 50 * 4222 / 32699 = £6.45 or $8.47.
$8.47 sounds a lot better, isn't it?
I didn't look at 6 or 12 types of runes, I just took my Manaz drop rate and projected an estimate over a year. But that wouldn't be a big change in the calculations.
Contracts aren't the most reliable not just on gamehag, but on any similar site. The game tasks are at least verified by gamehag themselves, so they are more credible, even then you see people complaining that they can't pass those. I take it daily ads are only on smart phones? Maybe I should look into those, how much do they give?
While it's nice to be hopeful, it's also good to be realistic, even a big site like tremor games had to shut down, so there's always the risk of everything you hoarded going to waste without being paid out. Meaning by the time you get to 50€ steam wallet card, it can be gone. $8.47 are 7.61€ which isn't a huge improvement over 6.71€ considering the years it would take, by daily logins alone it's 8.

I don't agree with the 32k gem deadline of 1 to 2 years fomi. I've been here for about 4 to 5 months and I've already collected around 30k, which is already enough for 50$ or 50€ in steam. Or couldn't I just get a 50€ paysafecard for just 25k gems that translates into 50€ into steam? Is there any transaction fee that I don't know?
Yep, daily ads are smartphone only. But you should do it Myon, most of my gems come from it. You install the Gamehag app, go to Get More -> App Zone, then press play and watch an ad. The length range from 5 to 30 seconds per ad, and after each ad you get 1 SG. Sometimes I got lucky and got ten 5-second ads, meaning 10 SGs in under a minute. That's substantial, and you can do it anywhere you want, even while playing games or watching Netflix. Compare to doing tasks that's infinitely better.
pqp, I'm getting into it alright but all thing's good, nah, fun even. A good distraction from my daily workload, and it's nice talking about "nerd" stuff with people who care. Certainly meaning no harm, and I guarantee you I know when to back off if I'm wrong. Hopefully Myon is the same yah?
The estimate time is for "casual" people who don't do much farming on this site. I myself don't get much tasks to do in Gamehag (Asia citizens aren't the target of most survey, figures), and when I did do them most went unpaid. Bollocks, those scam sites and their surveys. In-game task? I save them for when I get blocked from watching ads. Haven't seen new games in Gamehag in a while, and I'm not sure what will happen if I get blocked again and all in-game tasks have been done. Will the support team just unlock it manually for me? Or will they block me until a new game is put up? I don't like that risk, so I don't get many gems from in-game task either. You can get 30k from 5 months, but in that time frame I have only accumulated about 15k.
One more thing: what is that 50€ paysafecard anyway? I can't see any reward in the 25k range on Gamehag that looks like it.

But that's what I wanted to get into, maybe my past experiences with tremor games were a bit aggressive, but they were only meant as a warning, not as hate.
I don't see paysafecard in gamehag's gift card shop, neither in steam's payment or adding wallet funds, maybe it's not supported in my country.
As I don't own a smart phone, only a normal phone, I'll have to pass on this sadly :( Yeah, it's definitely fun talking about this "nerd" stuff, that's why I was in it from the start. :D I've only done Game of Thrones Winter is coming, but I don't get why you would want to save them they are just extra gems on top of the daily logins. When you have some available they are like a bonus. Are you saying the ads are somehow linked to having in-game tasks available?
No phone? Download an emulator like Bluestack or Droid4X and you're done. Not as convenient as a smartphone, but that will have to do.
About the in-game tasks, yeah. They have a daily limit, something like 100 SGs max per day from watching ads or something? If you fill out that quota everyday, after about 3-4 weeks you will be blocked from watching more ads. They have a condition you have to fulfill to unlock it; in the past it's "do a task" (survey...), but currently it's "do an in-game task". So I have to save them, else risking running out of games to do.
Dude actually this new reporting system is broken. Did it just erased half of this thread? Not to mention that I got almost 400 gems of reporting sg today.
Either a mod was too tired to check and just did a mass removal, or a bot removing every comment having passed the report number threshold.

Can't remember where do you get that number of Mannaz from (why 4/52?), everything else looks good. And it's Mannaz, not Manaz. I did a recheck with the weekly chest.
It's just my overall drop rate of Mannaz rune projected over a year, so a rough estimate is 4 per year.
Anyone made for another chest drop rate ? like csgo
@Wentox csgo chests aren't free so it's harder to get a big sample size without spending a lot of money.
