Are you constantly bored and looking for new, fun games to enjoy? With the recent rush of Covid-19, we're all getting bored at home in quarantine. am I correct? I'm going to talk to you today about a fresh, buzzing, interesting game that can grab your attention and hook you in. This game is.. you guessed it, Roblox! Powering Imagination since 2006. With pages and pages of games all different to one and another to chose from, I guarantee you'll never be bored again. Now, let's get into it, shall we? 

It all started back on the date of December 5, 2003 when the Dynablocks website was created. Now, I know what you're thinking. Dynablocks? How does this have anything to do with Roblox? Well you see, before the name 'Roblox' was created, it was simply called Dynablocks. They came up with the new name by adding the words 'Robots' and 'Blocks' together, which therefore made Roblox! Fascinating, right? Dynablocks was scripted and programmed to be a 2D game which taught students physics, which turned into one of the most popular free video games for all ages to enjoy. Later along in 2006, after a lot of hard work by the developers, Dynablocks switched to Roblox. 

Now that we know all about Roblox's past timeline, let's talk about Roblox's best traits, and their worst!

The Best Traits

1. Thousands and thousands of unique games to hold your attention.
2. A whole items catalog so you can dress your character however you want and to express who you are.
3. You can meet new people and have a maximum of 200 friends, who you can chat with in the Roblox Private Chat.
4. You can create your own game or group for others to enjoy. 
5. Attend planned events, such as The Bloxy Awards, group meetings, etc.

The Worst Traits

1. You need virtual currency (Robux) to purchase game passes, items, and more. This costs real life money which some people cannot afford. However, the way you look does not affect the way you play, as in some games they have free closets!
2. Trollers. Roblox tends to get a lot of trollers. It's most likely you'll find one in 90% of the games you play.
3. If you're reasonably young, you would need to keep safechat on to avoid being bullied. Roblox gets a lot of complaints on bullying, therefore if you are under the age of 13 Roblox will put a safechat lock on your account to avoid bullying. 
4. Scamming. On certain games, people will try to scam you.
5. Last but not least, drama. I know this can sound dumb, but it's true. Certain people on Roblox do create drama which can put some peoples moods down. However, it is extremely easy to avoid, by just leaving the game to put a stop to it getting dangerous.

In my opinion, and many others, Roblox is a fantastic game for all ages. Like all other games, it has it's pros and cons, and that's okay! It's all around the perfect game to cure boredom and get your creativity flowing.
