This article will be about my personal opinions on war thunder and just in general what there is about this game.
War Thunder, War thunder is a online PVP/PVE world war one to modern war vehicle shooter, the game includes many countries with vehicles such as planes, tanks and even war ships! The main basics of the game is a team death match where you will use different vehicles against each other to overcome the enemy, with the skill tree being lengthy it can take time for you to unlock that one vehicle you want to play as but once that grind is over it is definitely worth it, love seeing my notification tell me my research is done and i can play as the vehicle, if you need a break from PVP there is even a PVE option where you can play with a group of people to defend points from attacking enemy, and with PVP if you're up for a challenge you can try out the realistic mode where damage is increased and more skill is needed.
One of my favourite things about this game is the damage system for planes and tanks and how with planes you can see your wings tear off if you fly too fast in realistic mode and in tank battles you there is a whole system for armour penetration where you will need to correctly aim where you shoot at an enemy due to the armour being weaker there and you needing to use a different shell or not, another thing i like about the tank battles are is the crew system, you need to watch out for your crew because if any get injured you wont be able to do tasks as quick which can get you killed.
Another part of this game I enjoy are the campaigns, this is where you or other party members can take part in past battles in history against AI, another game system is clans, in these clans you can have a custom nametag for everyone in your game lobbies to see and they may even join too!!
The warships is also another good game feature! with it being many different combats, you'll have to attack other ships while your Anti Air guns take down any enemy threats in the sky which can make the game look awesome.
The graphics this game has is amazing, for a free game it has some of the best graphics I've seen in any full paid war games.
With a very very active community on this game you will never ever have to worry about not getting into lobbies and not having a friend to play with since hundreds of thousands of friendly players join in daily with more everyday! the tutorials are good as well as the game can seem confusing for new players but with a community this big any questions can surely be answered! And with all the tutorial options im sure new players will not get confused and get to know how to play instantly!
