    Review: Wheel & Deal

We love the eighties for the fact that they gave us a pink, filled with drugs and an unprecedented drive of Miami. The good old film "Scarface" by Brian De Palma took the popular culture by the scruff and shook it several times, and to this day we feel this prokofaineny flair of the hot east coast. We've already seen GTA:Vice City  and the furious Hotline Miami . Let's see how interesting, against the backdrop of all this acidic diversity, will be a small-bore and niche project - the arcade Wheel & Deal .

At first glance, Wheel & Deal is a set of parts that combine so-so among themselves. Taking the concept of the ancient Spacewar! , pushing it into a wrapper from the arcade Tron and giving it all a frenzy of early Grand Theft Auto , Robote Games made the thing extremely funny and addictive. Not so bad for a game in which, if frankly, even the "backs" draw as if too lazy.

Should I mention that the subject, thank God, is not there? All we have is a garage in which our futuristic iron horse is parked. And in spite of the fact that the cars are floating in the air, real examples are easily discernible in them. Here you can ride, for example, on a copy of the cult DeLorean, and not just ride, and smash into splinters, it seems, a whole fleet of American police. It is worth noting that in the game, our protagonist, obviously, is engaged in some illegal activity, hidden from us, otherwise it is not entirely clear why the cops are sharpened on him on the map.

Management is simply simple - the car in our hands behaves very capriciously, like an electric car on an autodrome, to keep it in check is initially inconvenient, but it will not get used to work. The danger for us is represented by aggressive defenders of law and order and cars of unknown origin (which should, apparently, hint that the pilot of our Pepelats crossed the road not only to the police, but also to the drug mafia). Some press the number, others can not be knocked with one hit from the cannon, others can themselves respond with a couple of rockets to the stern. For the destruction of the ideological enemy, you can get short-term bonuses such as invulnerability, as well as money that, in truth, the game has nowhere to spend. That is, in general.

And this is the main problem of Wheel & Deal- if she was just monotonous, it could be forgiven her while she entertained. However, in the game was added a store in which you can, in theory, buy new cars. And it does not work. Because there is nothing in the store. The machines are simply not enough, and the very existence of the commodity-money system looks like a rudiment. Let's hope that future updates will fix the situation.
Wheel & Deal want to praise. Because it is fervent, minimalistic and insane just as much as its simplicity allows. But with all this - empty. Nothing new can bring to the mobile industry, it can not, and does not try. It's more like a funny childishness, a project interesting simply because it's "cool." Perhaps accepting it as entertainment for a couple of evenings would be the best idea. Just do not expect revelations from him.
