    Review: Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days

Heroes of the debut film Quentin Tarantino (Quentin Tarantino) "Mad Dogs" were arrogant, cynical, crazy, coming alive from the incredible scuffles and gunfire immortal bastards. And now, in the isometric tactics of Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days , made by the Barcelona studio Big Star Games with the support of Lionsgate (according to rumors, even Tarantino nodded something, advised or rejected), they really became immortal - even if they take on the chest a portion of lead from cops, you can always rewind time and save them.

Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days offers to play for the famous gang of colorful bandits who never call each other real names - only Mr. Pink, Mr. Blue, Mr. Brown, Mr. White and so on. Pink and Brown, it's clear that the nicknames do not like, but there's nothing to do - everyone is already used to it. Outwardly, they are only remotely similar to movie actors - despite the presence of Lionsgate in the credits, the developers were not able to obtain the appropriate rights.

For the same reason, the plot of the film in this game, unlike the shooter of 2006, Reservoir Dogs, does not repeat directly. Yes, it really is not. Our bandits are engaged in what they do best: under the leadership of the boss Joe Cabbot they go to different places to rob, kill, and then kill and rob. New locations are gradually opening on the global map: offices, banks, jewelry stores, warehouses, hotels and even pig farms, where everything repeats - we go in, assess the situation and after a couple of phrases in a firm laconic and ironic style ("Shut up." And let's get out of here! ") We begin the robbery. In the process, we clean the safes, boxes, pockets of civilians and shoot back from the policemen who flee from all sides.

Cops are always much larger, they surround and pinch, and at the exit from the establishments, when our heroes need to get to the point of evacuation and get into the car, as a rule, they are always waiting for dozens of police cars with flashing lights. Accordingly, everything goes very fast, bloody and furious - as it should be in the game for such a film. Levels are quickly flooded with blood, while civilians constantly run and yell, involuntarily substituting under our bullets.
For each murder of an innocent fines, as well as for repeated attempts to pass the level, but as a result, money earned for the mission of the money is still enough to unblock the next case and buy a new weapon that gradually becomes available as we progress. Then this "trunk" can equip the selected "dogs" before the next task. And to take with them on business, as a rule, only two or three Misters are allowed.
All "dogs" differ in several characteristics - speed, vitality and dexterity. Mr. Brown, for example, is healthier than Mr. Pink, but he is much faster. Plus, everyone has his passive skill: the same Brown freely carries large "guns" and money bags of any size, Pink gets 15% more money for each raid, and, for example, an experienced one who has not been in a mess. Mr. Blue faster than others restores health.
But all this is not so important as the ability to competently use the system of rewinding time, which in Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days is the basis of all tactical mechanics. The bottom line is that initially we manage only the leader of the group that came to the case, for example, Mr. Brown. You can try in his role to shoot everyone and get to the door, but then still have to rewind time and switch to some Mr. White or Pink and bring them to the same door - to go further, you need to collect at the transition point all the wards.

If Brown was killed during those seconds when you ran it, the time will automatically rewind and suggest you take control of the next character to try and save the leader. The latter will repeat all those actions that you have already committed, and his partner is given exactly as many seconds as the control session of the first character lasted. Do not have time to prevent the death of the leader, or this Mr. will also be killed - everything, "geymover."

At first, in all this, it's not so easy to understand - it seems that the system is illogical, stupid and idle. But then, when you get used to it, this mechanics opens up to the full and allows you to go out of any trouble tactfully and tactfully. You begin already and forcibly rewind time, now and then switching between different "dogs", correctly arranging them and covering each other, because you already know where the cops will run from when and who will shoot the head of Orange. As a result, it turns out to act almost simultaneously, and for the implementation of such joint attacks on the results of the mission, we are rewarded.
