    Review: Battle Command !

Known for its three-dimensional MMO-games studio Spacetime Studios enters a new arena, introducing the strategy Battle Command !Before us is a futuristic version of Clash of Clans with wars in a somewhat unaccustomed environment and with new resources. Another clone? Rather yes than no. However, he looks much better and tightens the gameplay much stronger than the original. Probably, this is the merit of the authors, who took into account the needs of the current fans of the genre. Classical tasks with the construction of a base and military installations are mixed with the conquest of the whole world, raider attacks and the modernization of their possessions.

We have several tools for erecting various structures. Some of them are responsible for the extraction of resources, others for the training of soldiers and the production of vehicles, others design planes and "pump" defense around the perimeter of the base. In pursuit of superiority over rivals, it is necessary to destroy potentially dangerous outposts. During the attack, each fighter and armored vehicle accumulate their own experience. Specializing in these or those aspects of the military seizure, we place well-protected "units" on the fronts, long-range units in the rear, and fast ones on the flanks to bypass the enemy formations.

Successful raiding largely depends on the skillful tactics of the player. Victory is counted when the enemy is completely destroyed. In Skirmish mode, we need to keep as many of our fighters as possible. That's right, it all looks like Clash of Clans . With the difference that Battle Command ! with similar mechanics is fully devoted to wars with robots, lasers and protective fields instead of barbarians and sword battles.

In War Games mode, the player must attack his base with his own soldiers. What a twist! Take and defeat the perfectly built-up system of insuperable protection. Not a bad call, right? A great way to test your outposts for strength. In addition, in this mode, you can practice in offensive and defensive tactics - because all the shortcomings of our fortress from this perspective are visible to the naked eye. To fight with yourself, you do not need crystals of in-game currency.

Premium currency in Battle Command! occupies an important place. At first glance, a huge initial set of crystals should be enough for at least half the game. But only you manage to make basic engineering improvements to the outpost, how further stocks are emptying, and difficulties begin. Without buying up the crystals, everything becomes unbearably long. Each action takes too much time. And the situation is not saved by "upgrades" to speed up production, production and increase the capacity of warehouse buildings. Without the Donat, you will have to accept the long expectation of new resources for further progress.

Given such a difficult extraction of resources, each raider's way out of its base is fraught with great losses and a new long wait for recovery. And the enemy can attack from the outside and constantly weaken our defense, the repair of which is worth the same crystals and, of course, time. All would be nothing if the motivation for new raider captures was obvious. With a very mediocre graphics and clumsy animation Battle Command! Over time, does not set interesting tasks, and the number of blocked buildings is not as large as in the same Clash of Clans .
On the offspring of Spacetime Studios it is worth paying attention to the fans of Clash of Clans , which the topic of the antediluvian times was fed up with. Otherwise, the shine of the robotic chassis can not outshine the painful gameplay, completely tied to cash infusions and the unbearably long recovery of troops after the sorties.
