    5 Nintendo Switch games revealed for 2018.

    Various new games for the Nintendo Switch platform were announced during the Nintendo Direct, a presentation hosted online where Nintendo reveals information about its new upcoming titles to release across different Nintendo platforms. Here are the list of 5 Nintendo Switch titles that were revealed during the presentation coming out during the first half of the year 2018.



    Dark Souls: Remastered

    One of the most beloved roleplaying game of the gaming community, Dark souls is getting a new Remastered version from Namco Bandai Games and FromSoftware for the Nintendo Switch. The remastered version is said to include much more optimized graphics, higher framerates, 4k support for consoles with support for more players on the dedicated pvp multiplayer servers. The version was announced on 11th January, 2018 and will release for the Nintendo Switch on May 25, 2018. As of now, the price of game on the Bandai Namco Store is $39.99 for Pre-Order.



    Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

    The Switch version for the fan favourite side-scrolling platformer is currently under development which came out as a surprise for everyone. The Wii U superhit is making a debut for the Switch which is a re-release by Nintendo for the Switch platform and it is said to include a new gamemode with lots of other features such as a beginner-friendly mode for new fans to get easily adapted to the gameplay, given the game is strictly very hard for newcomers. The Nintendo Switch version of the game will feature local co-op which players can play using their joycons with a character featuring the Funky Kong. The release date for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is said to be May 4 of 2018.



    Payday 2

    One of the flagship titles of the PC Steam platform, Payday 2 is also having a port under development by community veterans Starbreeze Studios for the Nintendo Switch platform. The Switch version of the game will feature a brand new playable character named Joy, with lots of different varieties of masks, weapon modifications, skill choices, dynamic scenarios and a lot more. The new featuring in the Switch version is described as a "Japanese computer whiz" with her own unique "changing LED mask" for herself, the First changing LED mask in Payday history. Payday 2 for the Nintendo Switch will arrive on Feb. 27 for a price of $49.99.



    Mario Tennis Aces

    Mario Tennis Aces is currently under development by Camelot Software Planning was announced for the Nintendo Switch coming out during the first half of 2018 as a sports title and is said to even include a story mode. The game has been stated for a Spring 2018 release with a trailer showing Mario in action inside the tennis court for a head to head tennis battle. The game will feature a lot of different missions and different boss battles. The Mario Tennis series debuted for the Nintendo 64, the previous Mario Tennis game to include a story mode was for the Game Boy Advance platform.



    The World Ends With You -Final Remix-

    The 2007 Square Enix superhit for the Nintendo DS is getting a reboot re-release for the Nintendo Switch. The Switch version announced will include touchscreen or traditional control methods. The stylish Tokyo themed RPG received postive reception and was the second best-selling Nintendo DS title in Japan and the top selling title in North America. However it is still unconfirmed as to which date the game will arrive in store shelves but it is said to include a new control system for the Joy-Con usage along with additional scenarios. The game previously received a metacritic score of 88/100 for the Nintendo DS and 95/100 for the Apple iOS.
