The budget is probably the first point that comes to mind the buyer potential. In this area, the console undeniably prevails on the PC.

In addition, the console is mostly installed in a living room on a TV screen, it is easier to play with friends.

In my opinion, it depends on what you are looking for. Both of them offer different experiences and target different audiences. With that said I believe that the gaming and computer industries need a redesign in their bases. I believe that the hardware should get cheaper and integrated into the housing industry (something similar to tesla power walls) while the software should be decentralized and totally user-oriented. What I mean by this is that no person should be needed to own the hardware or even the programs for that matter but they would be able to access everything they do from any device. For example, if let's say I want to use the pc the pc would know that it's me from the user login (voice recognition would be even cooler) and give me access to my files that are automatically part of the cloud and can access them from any device. If I would want to use an app/game that right now is needed to be installed that could be done without any problem and without installation necessary but just by accessing the cloud or the house hive mind if we wanted to keep things offline. Just imagine how things could develop and be there. It would be a revolution in the gaming industry and furthermore, it is totally visible with the technological advancement we have today.
