Getting robux from groups?

I've seen a few posts claiming you can get robux from joining groups. How does this work?

Well there are group funds, where people can donate robux into group funds. Lets say there is 100 robux in the group funds. The owner of the group, also known as the person who created this group, can payout the robux to the group members. if the owner pays out 10 robux to on player, then that one player recives 10 robux, and ther is now 90 robux in the group funds. But you must be a member of the group in order to recieve payouts.

But most groups do not just give out robux to random players; the owner might do a giveaway of some robux, or you need to maybe help the owner with something, such as building or coding a game to recieve some robux.
