The German Heavy Tanks are heaps of fun, so are the USSR's IS1 and 2s and also th Sd.Kfz 234/2 is a early rank 2 german light tank/armoured car and it is heaps of fun too.
Soviet planes are incredibly OP. The attackers can solo carry AB with their tankiness, the PE-8 is the best mid tier bomber for capacity, the Yak line is crazy on guns, and the I185s climb like nobody's business.
