    AhJit joins CDEC Gaming

In the aftermath of Leipzig Major and Bukovel Minor regional qualifiers, CDEC Gaming are making a roster change and welcome Lai “Ahjit” Jay Son to the carry position.
AhJit will be replacing Guo “Eve” Yuhang, CDEC Gaming announced on December 8 on their . Eve joined the CDEC in March 2019, and although being be replaced for now, he won’t be completely removed from the team, but he will rather be moved to an inactive status. The change comes at Eve’s own solicitation, after he “filed a request” for a competitive break, as stated in the CDEC announcement.
Over the past year, AhJit played in Southeast Asia for Tigers and for Mineski. Following only a top 6 finish at the last Minor pre TI9, AhJit was replaced in the Mineksi roster by Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov, who got to attend his first TI with the SEA squad. While Mineski lost their Dota 2 entirely in the post TI9 shuffle, with Nikobaby moving back to Europe and joining Alliance, AhJit was recruited by CDEC at their subsidiary squad, CDEC Avenger.
Avenger didn’t make it through the open qualifiers for the first set of Major and Minor tournaments of the 2019-20 Dota Pro Circuit season, but the CDEC main team has reached the Minor regional qualifiers grand finals twice in a row. Unfortunately for them, both times they failed to go further and will now have to wait for the third leg of qualifiers which are scheduled for February 2020.
CDEC Gaming roster from position 1 to 5:
    Lai “Ahjit” Jay Son
    Guo “Xm” Hongcheng
    Shen “123” Chao
    Zhou “James” Yifu
    Chen “Victoria” Guanhong
