It can be tricky to tell what is spam and what isn't, but as Visty summed it up, if a comment contributes to nothing, it is usually safe to consider it spam, even if the message is not something bad. For instance, comments which are copy pasted from other comments, or comments which just have one or two words or a smiley face.
Do no forget that you should also report inappropriate comments. Those are not spam, but they are reported in the exact same way. They are usually rude and/or edgy messages. If a message is unnecessarily insulting or agressive, it is inappropriate. Do be careful however, swearing is not forbidden on gamehag, and is not inappropriate in itself. Being negative and insulting towards gamehag or its community or something of the like is inappropriate however.
As for what happens when you report a comment: your comment will be judged manually by a staff member. They will check the comment's context and judge for themselves if it is spam or not. If they judge it as spam, you will get 1 SG for reporting it. If it isn't judged as spam, nothing happens. If, however, someone was to abuse the report system and report comments repeatedly even though they aren't, said someone would be banned from the reporting system. All I know is that someone mentioned in a thread that you could get experience by posting articles which then get accepted. I am not sure if it's true, and how much experience you get out of it.
I'm pretty sure gamehag's discounts are not set according to steam's sales, I've never looked much into it, so I could be wrong.
Cave Story is definitely first, it's always fun.
Since everyone's posting several, I'd say the next ones in line would be The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (and other zeldas but this one's my favorite), Paper Mario (the second one especially), Metroid (Prime and Fusion especially), Tales of Symphonia, Undertale, The Legend of Dragoon, BIT.TRIP RUNNER (the second one especially)... The list goes on. 
Played neither of them, but from an outsider's perspective, pubg looks more popular, roe looks much better aesthetics-wise however.
Computer if you can afford it, then buy a PS4 if it has exclusive games you really want to get your hands on.
Your only hurdle will be to buy all the parts, building the PC (or buy one already built) and setting it up. (choosing your OS and installing it, or buy one with an OS built-in)
If that is truly your opinion, give out some explanations as to what you think makes the website dull, and, if possible, some suggestions to make it better. Otherwise, your comment looks disingenuous.
As for the topic, I actually quite like it this way. Sections are easy to find and navigate to. I have no complaint.
Many more memorable games came out in 2005. My favorite will have to remain The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap for the Gameboy Advance, my favorite Zelda game.
Other games worthy of mention would be Kingdom Hearts II, Mario Kart DS, Kirby: Canvas Curse, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, Black & White 2... And more.
