The first two parts of Doom were created within a year, but the next ones were released with longer breaks. In 2016, the brand was reactivated and the new game was released. The new Doom was maintained not only in modern style, but also used the most modern mechanical solutions. The latest part of the series is Doom Eternal created in 2020.
Doom Eternal has been exceptionally warmly received by both critics and players. This title was played by fans of the Doom series, shooter fans, as well as people who have been in contact with this type of game for the first time. The plot of the game is a direct continuation of the events of Doom from 2016. We play once again as the Doom Slayer. This time we must fight the hellish forces on Earth. Enemies from Mars have spread not only to our native planet, but also to planetary systems in other dimensions. The player has at his disposal various types of weapons, the next models of which can be obtained during the campaign. In addition, the Doom Slayer can destroy his enemies by kicking them, doing glory kills and throwing them off the platforms.

Doom Eternal was released on March 20, 2020 on PlayStation4, Xbox ONE and PCs with the Windows operating system. The premiere of the Switch version of the game is also planned for 2020.
