it would be more easy if he told us what his specs are, cause some systems just cant run csgo good even on low details etc, due the cpu and gpu cant handle it.

sometimes your default settings are set to give bad fps check from your screen settings of the max fps computer gives and check your computers specs for how much it can give as maximum

Yeah. But there was some ways to boost a little like +10 fps. Dont know if you want it though. It qas something like you had to disable steam running in the backround

just buy a new mobo,ram,processor amd a ssd or m.2nvme and a 144ghz monitor so that every time you play a game it wont get laggy

a 500$ build is fine since csgo just needs mid tier builds

if you want to get better fps you can lower your graphics to low and close everything that is running in background. if that doesnt help you might need to buy new graphics card,
