I agree with you. Gamehag should have automated spam detection system which will save the moderator's time. This could also have a clean and friendly environment for other users on Gamehag. If this has already been added, I suggest GameHag improve on their spam detection system as I have seen many spams once in a while. They could also increase the numbers of words/syllables needed in a single comment. This could prevent, like what @masculinium said earlier, simple words like "this is a good game", "I love this game", "Good article" e.t.c

i think it would be usefull to see wich comment was reported as spam and/or the reason for a ban. i was banned 24h and i don't understand as i think i always took the time to comment

@obcd1 I agree, it would be useful but it's unlikely to happen, I once asked support which comment of mine led to a ban and they didn't have access to that information.

But, frankly speaking, I also had a question.
The bottom line is that recently another thread dedicated to sites like Gamehag appeared on Russian localization. That is, the question was raised there whether such sites exist, and users left the site names+domains. I wrote there that sub-threads already exist, and that advertising (in terms of links, etc.) on the site is prohibited (isn't it?..). Then I reported the first post of the thread. However, after a while, I noticed that my message (about the existing threads and ads) was deleted there and I lost the exp, while the thread itself remained on the forum.

Accordingly, I would like to ask why this is so - that is, are such discussions still legal and what could be the reason for deleting my message. Thank you :)

so what is a moderator then? are they just people who have been using gamehag for a long time?

Will the Ban Duration be lifted if you haven't done anything wrong in a while. For example, let's say I'm on a 3 day ban, then after coming back, has been good for 2 weeks. Will my next ban still be 31 days or be set back to 1 day?
