For me the game changed alot since I started playing it. Its still being played all the time so I dont think its too late to start playing in 2022.

The only bad time to be playing the game was during seasons 10 - 19 after that chapter 3 came out during December 2021 and it's really good. There are new guns a new map and there is even tilted towers
