Hello everyone. Today we'll talk about The Witcher.
The Witcher is the first part of the well-known game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (yes, imagine, there were two more parts before it). I want to note that the older the part of the witcher, the fewer people who played it. If in the second part there is simply outdated graphics and the corridor of the game, then in addition to everything else in the first part, not typical control is added.

I'm not the kind of person who will talk about this game through the prism of nostalgia, because I myself went through it about three years ago. The plot of the game is the theft of recipes for witcher elixirs by the bandit group "Salamander". The book story of Geralt of Rivia, the main character of the game, continues right there. Attention, now there will be spoilers for the books of Andrzej Sapkowski, the author of the series of books "The Witcher": in the last book on which the game is based, Geralt was killed by an angry mob. Why he survived and why he lost his memory, you will learn only in the third part. The main character was found in the swamps near Kaer Morhen (witch school) by his comrades, witchers. In the witch's fortress, Geralt meets an old familiar sorceress - Triss Merigold. Gradually, over the course of three games, Geralt will remember all his acquaintances, and now we are heading to Vizima, or rather, to its surroundings.

There he meets another of his acquaintances - Shani, who is a physician. In fact, the part with the surroundings of Vizima is my favorite part of the game. She is calm, nature is quiet and pleasant to the eye. But this is my personal opinion. So, together with Shani, Geralt meets a boy - Alvin. It is with him that the global choice for which the games of the series are famous will begin. In fact, it would be best if I started playing after reading all the books, but I started reading them only after completing the first part (so far I have only read the first two parts, but I can definitely recommend them. Recently I saw an article about books on evaluation) series, but at the time of this writing, it was not posted. If the author reads this, then try and publish this article, I think this topic is interesting to many).

What I love about The Witcher series, among other things, is the ability to transfer save from part to part. Despite the long outdated graphics, I find The Witcher to be a very beautiful game. It has a pleasant ambient. Undoubtedly, the controls are not typical, but you can quickly get used to it. The Alt key can be used to highlight all objects with which you can interact. There is a Geralt pumping tree. I will also note the well-known cards among those who played. They will be of interest mainly to guys, but it is possible that girls will also like them. Due to the fact that Geralt, in my passage (due to absolute lack of knowledge of lore), threw in a love plan, I collected quite a few of them. Also, as I understand it, due to memory loss, Geralt does not know how to use signs. You need to open them at the places of power.

I won't go too deep into the plot. I will only say that it is very interesting and I like it no less than the third part (the second, in my opinion, is the weakest in this regard). Is it worth playing? Yes, of course it's worth it. It saddens that few people read and really want to go through this game. Now it is not relevant, but simply put it is not fashionable. To summarize, if you like The Witcher and want to familiarize yourself with the entire series, then I can advise you on this game and the books that preceded it. Thank you all for your attention ;-)
