The Smissmass update! (TF2)

We all know that Valve is not doing as much work as the community does, but we still got In-game events!

On December 3, this year, the update Smissmass (Australian Christmas) was launched and it will end on 2021 january 8.

This seemed to be the biggest update of 2020 and maybe even 2019! The game even has hit a player record.

In this article i will talk about general infos on the update, and give you some tips!

The first thing you will notice is the glorious golden christmas tree in the main menu!

You will have an alert that you have new items, and that item is the Gift-stuffed socking.

This item contains a

• Random weapons
• A painting bucket
• Smissmass sweater war paint
• Backpack expander
  
  Now this gift-stuffed socking can be the best gift for  a free to play user, since they also get they backpack upgraded and maybe even get free cosmetics if they are lucky enough

And many more...
Now lets get into the update itself, there were 4 new maps added (Infact this is the first time we are getting Smissmass maps)

pl_pier (Payload), pl_wutville_event (Payload), pd_snowville_event (Player destruction), ctf_snowfall_final (Capture the Flag)

Tip: There is a secret disco room in pl_pier!

Even though wutville has to offer us crazy bugs and exploits its still a pretty fun map in my opinion!
