does watching ads on the appzone refresh the frod/toad timer?

I thought watching ads counted as a task to restart the day count down but I watched a few ads today and my timer hasn't restarted, I tried to do a few tasks but their either taking a very long time to be accepted or didn't count at all. (wish there was a way to even tell if tasks that aren't screenshot ones were being looked at) does anyone know if this is still a "task"?

It does reset the timer but idk if it counts as a task
