Didn't receive full reward

After around 23 hours of continuous playing, I found the level 2 monster and upgraded my research to be able to attack it which alone took 8 hours and the castle level needed to be level 7. After all this hassle, I received only 500 points when it said 1080 for 1 task. Where did I go wrong? What should I fix? Any ideas? Thanks

are you playing on android? the 1080 points are for iOs, android users usually receive less than half of the reward, ridiculous right?
