Terraria: Journey's End Update (Final Update)

The game Terraria is an action-adventure sandbox game created by Re-Logic. It is a very famous and fun game with a bunch of content. It basically is like the game Minecraft but in 2D, and it has things like bosses, different cool weapons, bunch or different armors, wings, a wide variety of blocks, different biomes, and much much more. There are a bunch of different platforms to play the game with, some of which are PS4, PC, Xbox One, Mobile, and more. Now, I will be explaining the latest update in Terraria which is the Journey's End update.

The Journey's End update in Terraria was announced last year at the PC Gaming Show, the developers intend to review a lot of stuff and add hundreds of new items, a few new bosses, more mobs, and adding a new difficulty. The Journey's End update was released on May 16, 2020, in which it was already released before this article was finished. Here are some of the things in the new update. (Note: I only covered some of the items, accept this article and I will make a part 2)


Bestiary
They also added something really cool, the Bestiary. The Bestiary is a new thing added in Terraria in the latest update, it is a collection of information from the different mobs, critters, NPC's, and bosses, the player has either defeated or encountered in their own world. You can unlock more information in the Bestiary by exploring more in your world and defeating all or most of the mobs or bosses. It has information about the mob like its name, health, damage, and more. It can be accessed in the inventory by pressing the button for the Bestiary on the lower left part in the inventory.

Golf
You can now play golf in the game by placing golf cups and using golf clubs to hit the golf balls into the golf cups. There is also a new NPC for golf, the Golfer NPC. The Golfer NPC is an NPC that sells you items related to golf, the Golfer NPC sells things like golf clubs, different colored pin flags, golf ball, golf tee, golf cups, golf whistle, and much much more. You can also purchase the new mount from the Golfer NPC called the golf cart keys. This summons a golf cart that you can ride on similar to the other mounts in the game.

Two New Bosses
In the new update, two new bosses were added, the Empress of Light and the Queen Slime.
The Empress of Light is a hard mode post-Plantera boss which means that you first need to beat Plantera in order to fight this boss. The Empress of Light can be fought and summoned in the hallow by killing a rare critter called the Prismatic Lacewing that spawns in the hallow biome at night. The Empress of Light has a lot of new and cool drops, some of which are a new set of armor and some nice looking weapons.

The Queen Slime is an early-hard mode boss which means that you can summon and fight this boss as soon as you beat the Wall of Flesh. It is basically a counterpart to the King Slime. It also looks like the King Slime with the differences being that the Queen Slime is pink, has a crystal as its core instead of a ninja, and instead of a crown, it has a tiara instead. It can be spawned in the hallow using a gelatin crystal item. The Queen Slime also has a lot of new drops like weapons and a new set of armor which is a counterpart of the ninja set that you can get from by defeating the King Slime.
