OG schools Nigma with great Dota in GWB

As part of their charity event, Gamers Without Borders featured Dota 2 as the third tournament title and along with it are amazing sets of talents and top-tier teams. To open the single-elimination Playoffs, Nigma and OG squared off in the Quarterfinals.
Game 1: Ceb Magnus with the plays
In their opening bout, OG went for teamfight with Ceb Magnus and Sumail Luna, while Nigma drafted for the push with Mind Control's offlane Pugna, Miracle Lycan, and a last-pick W33 Visage.
Both teams went for early game brawls, but the disables from Kuro Jakiro and GH Earth Spirit gave them the lead in kills. With their draft, Nigma went aggressive in vision, going deep into OG's side, but a patient RP and Eclipse combo swung the game into OG's favour.
Throughout the game, OG have placed more Wards on Nigma's side. Because of this, they were able to shut down any attempts of pushes, and when Nigma tried to fight, OG was prepared. Sumail went for Helm as his first item, while Midone Kunkka went for Halberd. Having these two items on them allowed them to take the frontlines along with their supports as Ceb patiently waited for high-value RP's. Aside from that, Ceb's Aether Lens on Magnus was proven effective as he was able to catch some of Nigma deep in their high ground during their sieges.
As the game progressed, OG's cores have become bulkier and their tankiness was the key to their victory. Nigma had great teamfights, but OG took advantage of the duration of Lycan's ult. OG knew that if they would survive the spells of Nigma a bit longer, they would secure themselves a better RP and eventually won the teamfight.
OG's constant vision and teamfight successfully shut down the push strat of Nigma. OG cleared every building in their 38-minute win, while Nigma only took four towers all in all. Winning game 1, Sumail's Luna finished with 17/2/15, while Saksa Nyx's roaming and multi-hero Impale landed him 26 assists.
Game 2: easy rampage for Miracle
For game 2, Nigma first-picked an Ember Spirit for Miracle and 9th-pick Viper to set up a burst draft for Nigma, while OG took more of a teamfight-reliant draft with Sumail Monkey King and last-pick Midone Invoker.
Early on, the Gh Tusk and Kuro Wyvern were aggressive in lane as Nigma brought the fight in the mid lane. Because of this, OG was forced to commit five heroes to try and shut down Ember. Although OG kept up with the kills, Nigma's non-stop pressure on mid took down Midone to a 3/12 record.
With the amount of space Nigma made for themselves, Mind Control Necrophos racked up on tanky items to outlast the damage brought by OG. Because of Nigma's continuous pressure on OG's side, they were able to take away OG's growing lead and begin their control of the game.
In fights, Nigma burst down the Quas-Wex type Invoker and then separated OG and themselves so they can kite the ultis of OG. But one thing that stood out in Nigma's victory is their itemization. Instead of farming early on, Miracle Ember joined the brawls, so he was the one who opted for Spirit Vessel so he can have additional damage as well as heal, then he followed up with Deso and Aghs. W33 Viper went for the attack speed build while Kuro went for the unusual Holy Locket to amplify his heals on any one that Sumail tried to focused on in fights.
With their itemization and positioning, Nigma evens the series at 44 minutes after Miracle secures himself a Rampage to finish with 17/4/23 and Kuroky tallies 29 assists and heal out 13k amount of damage.
Game 3: none can stop Sumail Naga
In game 3, both teams had played an unusual draft. OG played a pos 5 Notail Enigma, a pos 4 Saksa Pangolier, and a last-pick Dragon Knight for Midone, while Nigma played a mid Miracle Storm Spirit and W33 Bloodseeker.
Similar to the first two games, they both went head-to-head and rotated for kills, but the Blink Stun from DK into Arrow by Ceb Mirana ensured kills early on. Nigma's distance prevented Notail from landing good Black Holes while Gh Rubick stole and set up kills with Black Holes and Songs of the Siren from Sumail Naga.
Because of this, Nigma won fights with chain disables, while OG picked up some key kills through ganks. In this game, OG warded Nigma's side heavily to give OG the chance to take down isolated members of Nigma while Sumail farmed.
Sumail farmed faster to finish with 831 gold per minute, while W33 only had 550 gpm even when his Bloodseeker had the highest kills with 14. So even though Nigma had good initiations, they did not have enough damage to crack into OG's high ground. In fact, Nigma only took down the first outer towers in each lane, while OG cleaned up their buildings behind a farmed Naga with a Manta, Butterfly, Heart, Abyssal, Nullifier, and Aegis in the final minutes of the game.
Both teams executed great teamfights, but OG won the series in 49 minutes because of the space Sumail had. They protected their side of the map by forcing well-visioned fights on Nigma's side, allowing Sumail to rack up on items and finish with 10/4/12, while Ceb Mirana contributed 20 assists to their win.
OG and Nigma stepped up this time for a good cause by giving us amazing games and even though Nigma was eliminated, OG will continue to rally for the fight against COVID-19 as they face Na'Vi in the Semi-finals.
