I think you should wait.
As comment above said, you should wait sometime, you will not get the reward instantly. Also, some task walls actually won't give rewards, I also remember completing a solitaire task but never got my reward.
And I don't remember "just install and open" rewards giving that much gem, maybe you are confused?
