Zonitron Productions has been kicked from Steam. Another Victory?

These guys had over 30 titles on steam. With more than millions of activations for the more popular titles, which were just pathetic mini games, prototypes and puzzlers. They sold these "games" below their trading cards value, then they sold packs when steam raised the minimum prices. Finally just given away keys, presumably to get their cut from trading card sales on the back-end. How this entire scam works is hard to say, but years later Steam finally cut them off.

wait, what will happen to achievements from thse games? would that be deleted too? that would be awesome, my %% would improve :)

The removal of these games only results in your game library count dropping, but the games themselves still are accessible in your game library, and still are playable, if you already own them. Any achievements, cards, and badges crafted, will not be lost.

I have not yet noticed in a change in my game count, or the corresponding badge, yet.

Little know fact, you can still create booster packs of cards for removed games. Though nobody ever should.

Well yeah i got all that shovelware free from various sources, was hoping to farm the cards once i had some time :P

Non Marketable cards are a bit of a pain to collect. And there are so many of them now. It is a good time to seize the opportunity and buy them up cheap, but I don't think I'm going to bother. Most e-steamed gamers don't get the idea of using gems to trade stuff.
