You can try buying the Steam chest, it cost 800gems. There are 5 good games, one that I don't know if it is good or bad, and the other are "meh". If you get the worst games, you can sell them for 400 gems. Or trade it on steam. I know that wasting 800 gems on bad games is not good but... If you got gems only playing and doing stuff here, it is still free. It's not like you are losing money or something.
I mean yeah it seems that you can get some skins worth quite a bit for less gems.
The value of each skin varies as well because of the quality GH sends also varies, so sometimes you get a meh quality skin and sometimes it's nice.
