Even though i like this game, and i spent literally 50 hours in the last couple of days. I can't just give a possitive review base of gameplay alone. Don't get me wrong the gameplay and the new mechanics like jumping attacks, crouch attacks, horse combat are awesome. I just can't comprehend how they manage to screw up the port, the optimization is bad, at least in my case. I don't have a monster of a gpu, it's a GTX 1660 6GB, and i get massive frames drop ( from 60 to 20), i know it's a common issue and they are looking for a fix, we just have to be patient for them to get the things done, but for now i just need to give a negative feedback, so that Bandai sees this and fix the issue. I don't want to spread negativity and attack the people behind Bandai studio that are working day and night for us, so that we can enjoy their games. Furthermore i want to say that this game is awesome. It has insane bosses that punishes you for being too defensive, just like in Sekiro (when some bosses like Emma, Genichiro or Isshin rushes to you immediatly when you start healing), it has an immersive landscapes with tons and tons of lore that you can discover through items (Armors, weapons, talismans, etc...), a lot of mini bosses that are hidden everywhere on the map and finally a lot of dungeons other biggers than others with cool bosses and puzzles. And for cons I think that the poor optimization of the game and the multiplayer lag and summons are a huge problem for the game. I have at least 3 hours in PVP and like 1 in 3 matches i experienced laggy hosts, idk if it's the game issue, mine or the host. Anyways overall the game is an amazing combination of all the Dark Souls franchise with new moves inspired from Sekiro (literally the Meteor katana has double Ichimonji as the standard strong attack) and some legacy dungeons layout inspired from Demon's Souls. Hidetaka Miyazaki did the perfect job combining all of the games.
