CS:GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive) is a tactical first-person shooter made by valve, and is one of the most iconic shooters out there.
CS:GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive) was released August 21, 2012, yet it's strategic, skillful, and addictive gameplay still hold up to this day still as one of the best shooters on the market. While the main mode, defusal, has never gotten me bored, there are other modes such as wingman, a 2v2 deathmatch, which is guaranteed to strengthen your bond with whoever you're playing with. There is also normal deathmatch, where two large teams battle it out in a no-mercy war. Along with these, there are two ways to play, casual, which includes all modes, and competitive, which only includes defusal, but with more skilled players. Oh, and did i mention it's free? All in all, this is an amazing game, and my personal favorite.

Alternate Gun Skins: While some gun skins are bland or generic, there are lots of gun skins that look amazing and unique. When you have a couple dollars extra in your steam account and you want some skins, wait until you get a good crate or maybe look at some cheap steam games, because good skins are rare, and you will almost definitely be disappointed by what you get.
Additional Knives: In my opinion, nearly all the knives in CS:GO that you can buy are worth it and they look awesome.
Buying Gun Skins and Knives: If you want a certain gun skin or knife, and are willing to pay extra money, there are trading sites where you can trade, buy, and sell gun skins and knives.
Tips and Mechanics:
Accuracy: in most other shooters, the character can shoot relatively accurately while moving and holding down the trigger. In CS:GO, you have to stand still or crouch, and click slower, waiting for bloom to ware off.
B-hopping: when it comes to accidental and purposeful mechanics to make you go faster or jump higher, b-hopping (bunny hopping) has become probably the most widely known. While being immensely difficult to pull off, with enough practice, you can easily get a few players to think you’re hacking.
Knife: When holding your knife, you are faster than when you are holding any other weapon. When you need to get somewhere quick, switch to your knife
Weapon Balancing: Weapons in games can be fairly balanced or on gun is the best and the rest are terrible in comparison. CS:GO has a few guns that are a bit overpowered, but this game fixes that with the weapon buying system. You earn money as you go through the match (at the ends of rounds, by getting kills, planting/defusing the bomb, etc.) with a maximum amount of $10,000 per player. The better guns are more expensive, so if you die with an expensive weapon, you don’t keep it the next round and you have to buy another weapon.
