The only ways to get SG from the forums is by:

- Leveling up, from commenting.
- Reporting spam comments and them being deleted. But you have to be the first one to report them.

I have never gotten soul gems from postin in the forums... Or if I did it hasn't shown up on my soul gems history. I think you only get like 5 gems per post. You are much better off doing the actual quests

Good question. Does anyone know what the relationship is between the number of times/frequency of commenting in the forum and the number of soul gems you earn? So far I don't appear to have gained any soul gems from commenting, so I was wondering if you have to reach a certain number of comments to gain a SG?
