Dust 2 isn't loved by the higher ranks at least. I personally hate it because it is a classic cheater map and idk I just don't like the design

Dust 2 is a great map, and can be very fun to play for beginners especially. However, it is notorious for having cheaters, due to the openness of the map and ease of shooting through mid doors. It is also, a very, VERY old map, and therefore is a classic among players. It was well-respected before modern day competitiveness and being tarnished by cheaters.

Its a pretty balanced map, thats why is it so loved. I still remember playing dust 1, that wasnt that good. You can experience it when playing wingman, there is a modified version of it.

Dust 2 is one of the oldest maps in the game. It have been played alot, and was the map most new players played on. Its also a well made map in that its very balanced.
