What did the early release of CS2 negatively affect?

What do you think were the bad consequences of CS2 being released before it was even completed? Let's discuss it!

Getting people to adopt a sequel in a multiplayer environment is already hard. Now release that product in a poorly functioning state with less features to an audience that is ready to hate it. In one move you prove the nay-sayers right and scare away the early adopters. Not to mention the fact that we've had Halo: Infinite, OW2, Diablo 4, half a dozen sports titles, and a bunch of other games I'm not thinking of that have made this same exact mistake.
