Step 1. Land out of the battle bus. This will be automatic, so you don’t have to find where battle bus is. (there is 100 players in a round) Step 2. Where to land, there are lots of places to land all of which have different purposes, some places you land for chest and other loot (explained in step 3 and 4) and others for medical. Step 3. Find material, medical, and ammo, this is one of the key ingredients to winning fortnite. Step 4. Search chests, they can be found all around the map, they are super easy to find due to the loud humming noise they make when nearby. Step 5. Get friends, friends can be used to play duos, trios or squads and can give you a way easier trip. Step 6. Run, yes that’s right I said run, that’s because there is “the storm” which when touches will slowly take your hp away, and the less the people there is, the more the damage it does. Step 7. Use vehicles, vehicles are all around the map and can be used as transportation or protection Step 8. Build, in the fortnite battle royale you will have to fight, and when you fight you will have to build using the buttons you select for building, you can also edit builds to make stairs, windows, doors, roofs, floors, and arches. Step 9. Weapons, there is a huge selection of from Assault, Shotguns, SMGs, Pistols, Sniper Rifles, Crossbows, Melees and Explosive weapons. And they have different rarities 9 (from worst to best rarities) Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic and Exotic. Step 10. The victory royale, this is where the game decides who wins or not, when the final 2 people (you and other person) are in a duel whoever wins the duel is the winner of the battle royale. Step 11, different game modes, there are 4 different game modes which are: Battle Royale, Party Royale, Creative, and Save the World (will list the details in next steps) Step 12. Battle royale, this is the game mode I talked about in step 1-10 (go back and read if you haven’t already) Step 13. Creative, this is the game mode where you can chill with your friends or practice. Step 14. Party Royale, this is the game mode that you can party and have fun, there’s lots of music events and other party things in this game mode. Step 15. Save the World, this is the game mode where you can, like the title says, save the world. “Save the world from what you?” might ask, from zombies of course, there will be an unlimited round of zombies in fortnite all of which have different abilities (speed, strength, throwable fire, etc.) Step 16. Vbucks, vbucks is the main thing to know about the game, it’s the currency in the game to buy lost of characters, styles, emotes/dances and the battle pass. Step 17. The battle pass, the battle pass is what is in every season, that have items that only battle pass members can have. It is usually for 950 Vbucks, but they might change that soon. Step 18. Gold bars, gold is another currency in fortnite that can only be used in the battle royale game mode, it is used to buy in game “Exotic” weapons (see step 19 for details) and can also be used to buy medical and upgrade weapons to higher rarities. Step 19. Exotic weapons, exotic weapons are the best weapons so far in battle royale, they are weapons that have special abilities to shoot (bombs, fire, snowballs) and can be used to win the battle royale.
