fps_max 0 or fps_max 999 . It would only work if you messed up your settings earlier and your machine allows it (to boost fps (not to be tried on potatoes)

don't run anything in the backround and turn graphics down. And buy enough ram and a good GPU. Yea

try setting settings to low or medium
(also turn off music in background if you use)

It'll become way too pixelated tho, but guess it's totally worth it for those JUICY FPS-

If you open up task manager and click the game or application you want to have better frames on. Set the priority to high, not the best option since that may crash your pc, that's if you're on windows though, I don't know about Mac.

Type "-high -nojoy -novid -nod3d9ex" in the steam properties, launch options. Update your drivers, maybe reinstall windows if it hasnt been in a long time.

most times, it infact matters on what your hardware is, to gain better fps.

Set everything to low. Or change resolution.
