    BLITZKRIEG 3 REVIEW

    BLITZKRIEG 3

What defines a good strategic game?

I believe that everyone could give a good answer to that question, but the core of all opinions could be the number of options that can be used to defeat an opponent. After all, this is somehow a point in tacting the exploitation of the advantages and disadvantages of all elements in the battlefield. Unfortunately, Blitzkrieg 3 has forgotten a bit about it, so there are often situations where a unit with more crude power is winning on its side.
Blitzkrieg 3 is also entertaining through the campaign, but because of certain design decisions it can not build its identity. Specifically, the game is trying to show the dose of realism, but it does not provide many tactical options and eventually it comes down to the one who has more powerful units in one place. True, there are options to surround your opponent and fill his throat with lead, which is especially important for tanks, but that's mostly the biggest stretch of tactics throughout the campaign.

Another option that is desirable to overcome is the proper exploitation of the scope of the weapon to make a trap a cracker by firing more ammunition while he is still preparing his cannons and other weapons. Unfortunately, this is not always the topmost segment when a good trap is planned because the game does not have any basic formations. Which means it is always necessary to manually set up a line or some other formation, which again entails micro control of units because only then are they taking advantage of all the advantages.

Blitzkrieg 3 does not have basic formations for units, which means that lines will always have to be arranged manually.
In order to facilitate this part, the game also enters the ability to pause this command. In addition, Blitzkrieg 3 does not provide any visual information about what the unit actually sees, so strange situations can occur where it is difficult to identify who drinks and who pays.
There is also no at least approximate visualization where the tank targets. Of course it can be said that the battles look visually attractive, especially when the tank grenades are bent over the cracking angle, but as far as it looks good, it can be frustrating.
With the lack of information on unit perception, sometimes one does not know who drinks and who pays.

Blitzkrieg 3 fails to compensate for such an interesting campaign where European, American, German, and Russian units are hunted. Three campaigns that take place over three different periods guarantee a large number of hours spent in front of the monitor, provided that the aforementioned shortcomings do not refuse the game. In addition to interesting missions, the greatest advantage of a campaign is its structure in which successful tasks are overcome by new units.

If a particular mission is tough, play another, win the units that will help in the previous mission and win is much easier.

This is exactly a surprise factor in missions because the description never tells exactly what to expect and should be experimented with selecting the units that will be found on the battlefield. Although it can be said to be a disadvantage, but after long play it really makes sense.
There is also Boris, an artificial intelligence general who does not use dishonorable tactics, but learns how to put it to him. An interesting concept that would have more potential to be involved throughout the campaign, instead of fighting with Boris as a separate mission without affecting the status of the campaign.

It is said that the first impression can leave a strong impression on whether you like something or not. The problem with Blitzkrieg 3 is that its first impression is not the best if you are looking for tactical options. It may be thought that this was originally a game designed for mobile platforms, so the developer later changed and chose the PC. But despite its limitations, Blitzkrieg 3 is actually a fun game if you are looking for content for self-playing. True, you will not improve the skill at that level that you will be able to write a book even if you tire just against Boris, but the game has that amount of fun in it that you will want to complete as many missions as possible and unlock as many units as there is enough.

Blitzkrieg 3 will not be remembered as the best RTS ever, but if you want to destroy tanks in the World War II, you might like it. Just adjust your expectations because this at the tactical-strategic level is not like a Total War or Company of Heroes who have offered many more options.

YOU NEED TO PLAY THIS GAME,AFTER THAT COMMENT IF YOU LIKE IT!!!
