Bad Piggies | IS IT WORTH PLAYING?

Bad Piggies is an indie / puzzle computer game, a spin-off of the "Angry Birds" series. It was developed by “Rovio Mobile” studio for mobile platforms and PC. Released September 2012.

The plot of the game tells us about green pigs who are very fond of egg dishes. In order to have a tasty meal, they are going to steal the product that is from the evil birds. To do this, they drew a whole map of the island and made a plan. However, it so happened that the card was torn to pieces and scattered to the sides. Now you need to collect its pieces and get to the treat. But even here it is not so simple. On the way, the green animals have a lot of obstacles. And to get around them, you need to build a transport.

Actually, the whole process of the game is to lead the pig from one point of the map to another. At the end, a piece of the map will be waiting for you. Only the track is not so straight. And on the way, what not to meet. At the beginning of each level, you will need to build a vehicle from the available parts. A whole mass of options will gradually open up. Starting from simpler carts, but serious cars with rocket boosters. All kinds of springs. Up to tanks and helicopters. Details are given for completing levels, of which there are quite a few in the game. And the complexity increases with each of them. Or you may come across some construction items in boxes that will break on the way. At the same time, one must understand that the apparatus itself will not advance from point to point just like that. You will need to press control buttons, start acceleration motors and the like, exactly when the track requires it. Depending on how quickly and efficiently your transport will pass. At the end of the level, you will be awarded stars of the passage. The higher the star, the better and more points you get. It is possible to get three stars in total.

In case, for some reason, the original game content was not enough for you. The authors have added several other modes to the game. Some of which, however, are paid. You can play the "Little Pig Adventure" sandbox. Where you can try your design solutions. There are even more details. But there is a chance to find the necessary items for processing in a special machine, in order to then open skins or costumes.

You can also play the "Cake Race" mode to compete with other players in collecting cakes for speed. Or go to the “Field of Dreams” level, where the number of possible stars for the passage has been increased up to forty. However, there are also much more game details.

Surprisingly, the development studio managed to step into the same river twice. The gameplay is still different from Angry Birds, but Bad Piggies is quite fun to play. In this game, we essentially have to side with the villains. The furnishings, despite their minimalism, have a disposition. And sound effects with a soundtrack contribute to a fun pastime. The pigs make different sounds every now and then and squeal loudly if they have to crash into rocks and other hard obstacles. And funny melodies against the background can easily endure the brain, no less than in its predecessor.

Perhaps the only significant disadvantage that does not appear immediately. The complexity of the game is painfully hardcore. Levels exceeding the second dozen begin to accelerate to the fullest. And then you have to pretty much smash your head over what you collect and how to accompany the pig to the desired object.

I recommend that you familiarize yourself with this game, it is suitable for both children and adults.
