Little Nightmares [Steam] [Indie] - Review

This is another type of game which is close to being an Indie game but somehow its not an Indie game and it well serves its purpose of being an horror and adventure game at the same time involving some puzzles that involve a brain to think... These games have bacome the METa lately, but that was once they were released but I don't know if people are still playing this game but I still enjoy playing this game.

This game is about a little kid who does everything to over come his nightmares, and yes I said kid instead of boy/girl as the gender isn't important here, the gameplay is... And that kid does things that involve overcoming fear and what not, of them some of them are real nightmares to some...

Read along to find out more about the game...

    Little Nightmares:

This game is available on Steam for PC [Windows only], and also on consoles namely PlayStation 4 and xbox one. This game obviously is not a free-to-play game, you'll have to buy this game and you're good to rock, but you know everything, right! So, lets just jump right into the game.

So, the game is a puzzle platformer which is pretty realistic to the limit that you'll eventually notice every detail in the game has something to do with everything with the main line story. You'll find the graphics amazing if you're owning a graphics card and crank up the graphic setting to ultra, PC Master Ra.... Oh wait, the game has FULL controller support so, you're good to play this game with most of the gamepads with xbox controls or any gamepad with xinput.

Little Nightmares is a whimsical tale that will confront you with your childhood fears for sure... You'll have to escape from a vast and mysterious vessel inhabited by corrupted souls everywhere. You'll have to be cautious as you'll find this game horror at times...

Lets go through some steam statistics of the game:

    • Single-Player game
    • Release Date: 28th April, 2017
    • Reviews: Very Positive
    • Developer: Tarsier Studios
    • Designer: Dennis Talajic
    • Publisher: BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment, many might know this as a big publisher for fighting games lately
    • Has Full controller support
    • Has Steam Trading Cards
    • Has Steam Achievements [Total of 22 Achievements]
    • Steam cloud save available
    • Somehow the game is rated 16+ by pegi for obvious violence in the game, but you know more than that, right?
    • This game has got some DLCs which add something more but eventually

Those DLCs are more likely expansion packs for the game released recently, well they are just like the added levels to the game. You'll find them interesting as the main game itself is pretty good in all terms.
As you progress your journey through the game, you'll find disturbing doll house and a playground packed with full of secrets and there your imagination is the key to complete that level... You'll most probably seem hard to completing the one but you'll eventually find a way out of it in the latter stages.

Here are some of the rating of the game from major reviews online:
    > IGN: 7.5/10
    > GOG: 4.5/5
    > Steam: 9/10
    > Metacritic: 81%
    > Digiato: 85/100
    > PC Gamer: 78/100
    > Polygon: 8.5/10
    > Recommended by both Euro Gamer

    Verdict:
The game Little Nightmares is a fun based horror game which will require your imagination and somehow you'll find this amusing as this is packed with puzzles full of horror and the physics are pretty interesting. If you're owning a graphics card then you're most likely to experience the game at its highest graphics that the game has to offer and its pretty fantastic. But if you're like me with a basic mid spec machine, you're good to play the game at mid settings and enjoy flawless experience packed with adventure...

    Thanks :)
