Alliance - Thanks, Virtus.pro, for winning!

Well then, it’s not always that we get to witness 2 rival teams showing each other friendly banters. Frankly, what are we even expecting from the good guys over at Alliance’s Twitter page?
Virtus.pro in the trench
Remember the good old days when Virtus.pro was an actual threat in majors and even earned themselves the proclaimed title as “Major Kings”? Well, unfortunately, those days are over. Virtus.pro is nowhere close to being able to win tournaments.
At some point, VP fans even begin to join the VP.Prodigy bandwagon instead. Unlike Virtus.pro, VP.Prodigy managed to reach the grand finals of the Pushka League. ****, they even defeated their parent team, Virtus.pro themselves at the Epic Prime League Season 1! And of course, let’s not forget the ESL One Birmingham 2020, where they got second runner-up.
Regardless, Virtus.pro had always strived to be better even when they had rough games, one after the other. And at the BEYOND EPIC: Europe/CIS regionals, they did just that despite already losing 2 series in the group stage.
Saving Private NikoBaby
It’s Virtus.pro versus Team Empire (oh, it’s been so long since I last heard this name), if Team Empire wins the series, Alliance would have to play a gruesome tiebreaker to decide who takes the fourth place.
But Virtus.pro managed to not only defeat Team Empire but made it a clean 2:0 sweep too. Thanks to their victory, it sealed Team Empire’s grave and eliminated them from the BEYOND EPIC series entirely. Of course, Alliance just has to go out of their way to thank their CIS brethren for saving them from the hassle.
Following Virtus.pro’s victory against Team Empire, Alliance really needs to count their lucky stars again. Virtus.pro’s final game against Ninjas in Pyjamas ended in a 1-2 loss. However, the one win is enough to prevent Ninjas in Pyjamas from having enough points to kick Alliance out of fourth place! For your information, NIP had 5.9 points, while Alliance had 6 points.
Virtus.pro, the Odd Ball
Oddly enough, the top seeders in VP’s group, FlyToMoon and Team Liquid have a more significant gap in points compared to Virtus.pro and Alliance. Yet, Team Liquid’s only loss was dented by Virtus.pro.
Looking at Virtus.pro’s game versus Team Empire, iLTW’s Phantom Lancer is doing what PL does when it gets its farm. Running over Team Empire’s heroes before their carry Spectre can become relevant. Besides him, No[o]ne is also on top of his game along with Zayac’s favorite hero, Techies, in the same game.
While in game 2, iLTW plays his signature Ember Spirit, reminding fans that he was once Team OG’s stand-in for ana before ana returned to the pro scene for the International 2019. Let’s just say he did rather well in team OG. Anyways, his Ember Spirit was just so elusive that despite Team Empire’s various skills to disable Ember Spirit, they were not able to catch him off-guard.
Besides dominating the series, VP ended both games within 17 minutes too.
The Bears are Hungry
Well then, since VP.Prodigy is not in the tournament, it’s up to Virtus.pro to show who’s the boss this time around. However, the competition is rather overwhelming, considering there’s Nigma and Team Secret.
