Why do people keep playing pay to win games?

To be honest, I prefer paying a few bucks for a game once and enjoy it for a long time over getting the game for free but every game costs money and you have to spend so much to be good at the game...

I would never pay money for a browser game cause the game is mostly bad and money is all they want. So i rather pay for a good download game and enjoy something like Colours or Skins. I never play games where you spend money to get good (Pay2Win). They are not worth it.
