Have you added gamehag.com to your steam account user name and the gamehag avatar? Both are required to receive the chest.
I won 50SG yesterday and was quite suprised.
To add gamehag.com to your username:
1. Login to your steam account.
2. Click on your profile name (the one that's in capital letters in the middle of the screen at the top).
3. Select "Profile" from the dropdown menu.
4. Click "Edit Profile" on the righthand side of the screen.
5. On the page you reach, change your profile name to yourusernamegamehag.com
6. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and hit the blue "save" button.
Surveys are good in terms of experience and amount of SG but you have to be patient. I find that a lot of the time my profile is not what the researchers are looking for, but every now and then I get lucky. TV Zone is a bit boring, but you can get up to 100SG a day. Log in daily for 5SG and everyday for a week gets you a 20SG bonus too.
Having the same problem. Haven't been able to get the TV Zone to load for a day or two now. In reponse to earlier posts, I reckon that the daily limit is 100SG for TV Zone. I'm at level 2.

In the TV zone you can watch up to 100 ads a day at a SG per ad. Although sometimes you'll get blocked from watching any more ads until you've completed a different task. It's worth trying with the surveys too as they're worth a lot more SGs, although more often than not you won't qualify.
Good question. Does anyone know what the relationship is between the number of times/frequency of commenting in the forum and the number of soul gems you earn? So far I don't appear to have gained any soul gems from commenting, so I was wondering if you have to reach a certain number of comments to gain a SG?
The free weekly chest is full of only runes. To open it you just need to sign in to gamehag every day for 7 consecutive days. If you don't want the rune that you win, you can sell it for 1 soul gem. There are a large number of chests that you pay for. The prizes inside depend on the chest. A lot of them are related to gaming. Some are virtual currencies, others have soul gems and Paypal rewards. I'd love to know if anyone has had success with any of these. Especially the ones containing soul gems and the Paypal chest. It looks tempting to try, but I suspect that most of the time you end up losing.
By "guessing games" I think the author of the article is referring to gambling on the buying of chests. If you click on "rewards" at the top of the screen and then on "chests" you find the option to buy chests that could win you great prizes (often more soul gems) or could end up "winning"you less than you paid for them in the first place. In other words, you make a loss. Tempting but pretty risky.
Surveys sometimes work. It depends on whether or not you have a suitable profile for a survey. My experience is that more often than not I don't qualify, but sometimes I do. So my advice is to be patient and to keep on trying.
