Remember the special 5X 'extras' that expired?

Remember when WG improved the values of Premium tanks with the new 5X crew XP boosts that turned out to expire after a couple of months if you didn't happen to "win" them? WG first said they didn't expire didn't they? And then did the right thing and added that little detail in the small print. So how was that situation discovered by players back then? Why do I ask? Because WG is now offering those same incentives and their track record on f'ing something, being pushed into admitting it, and then doing exactly the same crap later would strongly suggest they're doing it again. So how would someone verify that there is or isn't an expiration date on the Advent tanks that're coming with those infamous hidden expiration dates? Did they not simply include the expiration date as their solution back when they screwed those pooches back then? Did they actually fix those 5Xs and include them on Premiums that players ultimately proved the 'missions' didn't expire? WG has proven to be almost guaranteed unreliable and way less than trustworthy (to sensible users). What is it the simpleminded fanbois say over and over...... "without a screenshot blah blah." Anybody got some kind of proof this isn't a repeat of the previous expiration f'up. WG has a history of repeating their bugs and mistakes after all.
