Team Fortress 2 - Review

Today, I will be writing this article about a very famous game. This game is almost 13 years old. The glorious days of this game are over but it is still not dead yet. The game I am talking about is Team Fortress 2. This first-person shooting game was released on October 10, 2007. This game is both developed and published by Valve. The game is available in Microsoft Windows, Linux, Play Station 3, Xbox 360, and Mac OS X for free. Let's start our main discussion without any further due.

Gameplay :

Team Fortress 2 is one of the oldest first-person shooting games. This game dominated the first-person shooting games for a long time. This game is still not dead. The graphics of this game is good. The music, sound effects are also good. Overall, the concept of this game is brilliant. There are many maps, characters, game modes, and weapons in this game. These parts of the game will be described below.

Game Modes :

Mainly, there are two game modes present in Team Fortress 2. They are: Casual and Competitive. The Casual mode is free to play but to play Competitive mode you must spend 5$.

• Competitive: This mode is similar to ranked matches of any game. If you perform well in the match you earn rank points. Similarly, if your performance is low you will lose your points. 

• Casual: The casual matches has many parts. People mostly play these matches for fun. The casual mode is divided mainly into two parts. They are: Core and Alternative.

(i) Core: In this mode, there are five types of matches. They are: Attack/Defend, Capture The Flag, Control Points, King Of The Hill, and Payload.

(ii) Alternative: There are eight alternative games. They are: Payload Race,  

Territory Control, Special Delivery, Arena, Manpower, Player Destruction, Pass Time, and Medieval.

There is also a special mode name Mann vs Machine (MvM).

Characters :

The characters of Team fortress 2 are divided into three classes namely, Offence, Defence, and Support. Each class has their strength, weakness, and roles. Each class has three characters. So, the total number of characters is nine. The description of the classes are given below: 

• Offense: There are mainly three characters in this class. They are Soldier, Pyro, and Scout. The main job of these characters is to attack.

• Defence: The three characters of this class are Heavy, Engineer and Demoman. Their main job is to defend.

• Support: The three characters of support are Medic, Sniper, and Spy. Their job is to support the defense and offense.
