Dream SMP (originally known as DreamTeam SMP) is a private and whitelisted Minecraft survival multiplayer (SMP) server run by Dream Team and friends. Dream SMP is well known as a roleplay-themed server with mostly improvised plots and a long-standing history of alliance, war, factions, time periods, and characters.

Following Wilbur’s announcement that he’d be stepping down as head writer, it wasn’t until December 3rd, 2020, that Technoblade announced on stream that they’d be writing a portion of the script, with Dream clarifying on Tik Tok in a comment that Techno would be writing for his character, Dream.

In another conflict, Wilbur Soot established L’Manberg, an offworld state for non-US players, which broke away from Greater Dream SMP and won a war of independence. The party held a presidential election in which SWAG2020 ran mate GeorgeNotFound. Quackity, SWAG2020’s presidential candidate, formed an offworld coalition party called SchWAG2020 alongside Jschlatt. The coalition party won the election with 46% of the vote

L’Manberg was then invaded, destroyed and dissolved in January 2021.

Dream and Quackity will be working on the main story arc after Manberg’s, while Tommy and Wilbur will be working with Fundy and Tubbo, as well as other members.

One of the most notable fanworks, Heat Waves, is a fanfic series dedicated to the Dream SMP hosted by Archive of Our Own that reached the top three kudos on the site. Named after the song “Heat Waves” by Glass Animals, it’s been suggested that this is one of the reasons why the song made it to the top of the 2020 Triple J hottest 100 in Australia.

The server’s stories have led to fanart, fanfic, animation, and even an online musical. Unlike many other online creators, Dream has actually encouraged fanfic about him, saying that it will ultimately help his career. One of the most well-known fanfics is by a Filipina animator named Sad-ist, who draws events from the story set of the server along with music and dialogue snippets.

In order to fight and keep up against the enemy team, a champion needs to level up. Leveling up requires XP, which is gained from kills. Killing minions grants a little bit of experience, while killing an enemy champion awards quite a bit more. Killing minions in the early stages of a match is crucial, as this is the most efficient way to gain gold and experience. As a player gains more XP and gold, they can spend them on leveling up abilities or buying items. Knowing how much XP/gold each kill awards is one of the most fundamental skills a League of Legends player can develop.

To effectively combat and withstand the opposing team, a champion must progress through various levels. This progression necessitates the acquisition of XP, which is obtained by eliminating adversaries. While eliminating minions yields a modest amount of experience, vanquishing an enemy champion provides a significantly greater amount. In the early stages of a match, it is imperative to eliminate minions as it is the most efficient method of accumulating gold and experience. As a player accumulates more XP and gold, they can allocate these resources towards enhancing their abilities or procuring items. Familiarity with the amount of XP/gold awarded for each elimination is a fundamental skill that every League of Legends player should cultivate.

Establishing lane control is vital in League of Legends. If a champion is not establishing control over their lane, then a champion will consequently fall behind in leveling. Lane control is established by killing minions and enemies, leveling up, and defending turrets and structures. Mages – These champions are best used in distance scenarios. If mages are well protected, they can deal a lot of damage while being invulnerable to attacks.
Marksmen – Just like mages, marksmen are best utilized when damage is dealt at a distance.
Support – The main role of support characters are to amplify their teammate’s strengths and abilities.
Tank – Similar to fighters, tanks are best implemented as a “damage sponge.”
