    Intel CoffeeLake.

Will INTEL come back putting AMD back to second place with their 8th generation Coffee Lake?

If you are a fan of PC GAMING you probably know about the CPU " WAR " between AMD and INTEL.
March.11.2017 AMD launch RYZEN and with that, they gave us 8 core 16 threads CPU under the name RYZEN 7 and it offered similar GAMING performance to INTEL's 4 core 8 threads CPU ( CORE I7 ) but it offered much more power when it comes to video editing, rendering etc.. And all that for the same price.

And now INTEL have to come back with something that is more powerful than AMD's RYZEN and that may be CoffeeLake.

Let's start from the beginning. What is Coffee Lake?
Coffe Lake is Intel's 8th generation of CPUs and they claim that CORE I7 8700K will be 11% more powerful than their 7th generation CORE I7 7700K but also it will be with 2 more cores and 4 more threads.
For now, we know that their processors will be.
    CORE I7 - 6 cores 12 threads.
    CORE I5 - 6 cores 6 threads.
    CORE I3 - 4 cores 4 threads.
We also know that the TDP will be 65W for the none K CPUs and 95W for the K CPUs.
The 8th generation will be on socket 1151 BUT it wouldn't be compatible with motherboards from the 100 and 200 series which means that those with Sky Lake or Kabe Lake should also buy a new motherboard for their new Coffee Lake CPU.
For now, it all sounds great but there may be one downfall and that downfall is the frequency.
The 8th generation I7 8700K will be with a base clock of 3.7GHz which is 500MHz slower than their 7th generation I7 7700K.
If I7 8700K is 11% more powerful than I7 7700K on their base clocks that wouldn't be a problem but in my opinion, the processors were tested on the same frequency just to see the difference in clock per clock scenario.

Will INTEL crush AMD with Coffee Lake? Tell me your opinion down in the comment section.

Which was good in it's own but did not like Battlefield 1 64 players, also no overclocking. Replaced it for a 2600x which i still rock. And can handle anything i throw at it at atleast 60 fos most of the time a lot 100+

Ah, Coffe Lake. This generation was alright compared to price and what AMD had to offer. I had the I3 8100 which-

Sad thing is that 10nm process is already out for Samsung. So for the first time Intel isn't leading in technology, although their process nodes are different, targeting high clocks.
They have to finally increase the core counts, after stagnating on quad core for 10 years!

First time intel isn't leading the industry with their lithography process! Samsung was first to 10nm. Though they aren't really comparable.
