The default setting of the game is far from ideal for a competitive player to take the game seriously, on this list today I will focus on that and show some of the knowledge I gained in my 1,164 hours of gameplay and countless hours of texts and videos , change some things in the game that will improve your aim, make it more practical and streamline your decisions, remember that any decision is better than no decision! If you like, I'll bring more tips focused on other aspects of the game, so let's get the tips:

1 - Use a CFG

  CFG is an executable file inside the CS, in it you can put commands that basically change everything inside the game, the first tip has to be this because the next ones will be commands that you will put inside this file for when you open the game everything is configured of which way it should be, to create it just open a notepad and fill it with the commands (you'll see in the course of the post these commands) that can be for example: your personalized sights, bind to jump and drop grenade at the same time, bind to align smoke and many others, then you go into save as and name to autoexec.cfg, after that go to the installation folder of cs go and go to csgo> cfg and paste that file there, after that go on steam and right click on properties and then start options, will open a little window to enter the options, type + exec autoexec, so every time you open the CS this cfg will be loaded, if you want to change what has inside the file can go in the folder where it is and right click on it, go in the option open with and choose with notepad, this will allow you to change what you have inside, so the changes will be worth in the game you need close it and re-open, or type in the game console (open it with the quotation button) exec autoexec.

2 - Personalized look

  You can have a target of your choice in CS, the easiest way to do this is to subscribe to this community map and then enter it through the CSGO (play> local with bots> workshop> the map), in it you will find numerous options you can simply create your own in an intuitive panel, just shoot the target you want and it will be yours, test several and see which best fits your style, I use the Device of the Astralis .

3 - Use community maps to train smokes

Mirage, Cobblestone, Overpass, Cache
Train, Inferno and Nuke unfortunately have no maps for smoke training, but surely the community is already working on it.

4 - Turn off the mouse acceleration in Windows!

  Do you know what muscle memory is? I will not bring the full definition here but I will show you how it interferes with CS, imagine that you are spiked on some pixel with any weapon and suddenly the enemy appears on another pixel, far or wrong, you need to quickly move the sight to where the enemy appeared and try to hit the Head Shot on it, so your mouse will travel an exact distance on your mouse pad, or at least in theory, because if the mouse acceleration is activated you will get different results for the same course in the mousepad, and you can not let that happen, you already have to have in your muscle memory recorded the much that you need to tinker to direct the aim to the head of the opponent, if you are with active acceleration this becomes impossible.

To disable it go to the Control Panel> Hardware and Sound> under Devices and Printers you have the Mouse option (you can also search the mouse in the windows search bar), click there and go to the Pointer Options tab, and clear the Enhance pointer accuracy box.

5 - Video Setup
